I am not sure but if you are in hot touch with this contact, it may take
several seconds to retrieve all message history for particular contact.
Try to set history to minimum value or temporary no history and try
again. This had happend for me with recent events with old versions of
GW connect. BTW updating to newest version should also solve the problem.
