Michelle,

MSE typically works fine. It is possible that your settings file has
become corrupted. To see if this is the case and fix the problem, press
Windows-R to open the Run dialog, and enter
%appdata%gwconnect
.. Once open, delete everything you find and restart GWConnect. Does it
open now?
