Subject: Curious closure of GWConnect 2.0
Hi to all from a Canadian newcomer to the list,
I'm hoping one of you more experienced GWConnect users can help me out with a peculiar issue that's only surfaced in the past couple of days. I've only recently discovered GWConnect a couple of weeks ago and have been using it quite happily since that time. After upgrading to version 2.0, however, I've encountered something rather strange. When the program launches, I'm confronted with the usual dialog box offering me a chance to go to the GWMicro website or to click ok and proceed with the application. When I click OK, however, GWConnect simply closes. I've tried clicking the button every which way and even recruited sighted assistance - no dice. For what it's worth, I'm using Jaws 12.0. If anyone has suggestions on how to circumvent this issue, I'd be most grateful - traditional Skype just doesn't cut it after the GWConnect experience!
Many thanks for your help,
Michelle
