Okay what I did was go in to options, then arrow down to chat, make sure
your username and password are where they are supposed to be and press tab.
Press space bar on disconnect and when you hear connect press space bar
again and you should be good to go.

Subject: What's With Messages and Client Must Be Authenticated?
I'm just curious what's with getting subject messages. I've seen the client
authentication message before when I've tried to chat after my machines been
in sleep mode wherein I've had to go out of Social Eyes and back in but this
was the first time I tried to reply to a message and got this response.
I actually went out and back in twice and finally re-entered my password in
chat and saved it, then went out and back in and finally I was able to send
my reply to a message. So, SMH, what's up with messages needing to be
authenticated?
Just curious since messages doesn't appear to have anywhere to authenticate.
