This all boils down to inconsistent behavior in the Facebook API itself.
GWSocialEyes reports only what it's given when it asks for a page of
status updates.

now do we have such a large inconsistency when statuses are
loaded. Sometimes I only get 6, sometimes 16 and at times
even as many as 25 although it has been some time now since
I’ve seen 25 load at once. At least my more button does work
but why isn’t Social Eyes consistent on how many it loads at a
time? There has to be some reason, I’m sure, why it isn’t
consistent but sure would like to know why and if anything can
