Nope, this is the keystroke for jaws that reads the status bar. I haven't
had a chance to test this, but if this is indeed broken with jaws, sure hope
it can be fixed..

Subject: 1000 Character Issue Re-Visited.

According to documentation with the new SE Update, you're supposed to get a
character count by accessing the status bar. When I use the JAWS keystroke
for this, there is no character count given. Anyone else using JAWS having
this issue or is it just me? I'm using the JAWS key and page down as my
keystroke. If I'm using the wrong keys, someone please correct me.
