We haven't been able to reproduce any of your issues, and thus far you
are the only one reporting problems. I think at this point, you'll get
farther with Skype themselves.
As far as I know, GWConnect works under Windows 8.1. There's certainly
no reason why it shouldn't as native programs run the same here as they
did in Windows 8.
