I am also noticing severe sluggishness with socialeyes.
I opened a friend's profile, and now I have to quit the process to get out
of it.
When I go to the socialeyes window, it gets stuck. Had to do this 3 times
now.
Also, when you get to one of your friends, how do you send them a private
message?
I see chat, but not message.
Any ideas? I don't see an edit box after I click on chat by hitting the
applications key

Not at the moment, but that's a good suggestion.

Hmmm...that's an idea I hadn't though about before. And it appears that you
can easily do that through the API, so I'll make a note to implement this.
