some general questions from a newbieDate:
Fri, Jan 25, 2013 2:51:51 pmHello, My name is David and I am in the process of acquiring a home
computer to probably have Window-Eyes as the screen reading software.
I work as a Medical Transcriptionist for a national service, and use a
computer they provide which uses Jaws for windows.
The home PC is more for pleasure, writing, emails, listening to on
line webcasts..
For those who have made the switch from jaws to window-eyes did you
find it disorienting or easy to do?
I am nearing retirement age so doubt that I will be dalving into much
more skill training for another career.
My plans are to replace the current home PC with a refurbished model.
-I could not join the GW Information email list but could only sign up
for this one so if in the wrong place, please excuse me.
I also belong to the Tech Talk on the AFB board.
Thanks for comments and perhaps making some new acquaintances.
Sincere regards,
David in Michigan
