GW Micro Announces the Sense View Duo

The SenseView Duo enhances the current platform of the extremely popular Portable SenseView. The new SenseView Duo takes portable CCTV technology one step further. In addition to the ability to read small text with a close-up camera, a handwriting camera is built-in, but the new features don't stop there.
The new SenseView Duo stays in line with the original Portable SenseView with its sleek design, smooth edges, and stylish appeal. One of the biggest steps forward in portable technology for people with low vision is that the SenseView Duo also boasts a camera for distance viewing for objects more than 7.5 feet away, raising the bar for portable low vision technology. With the combination of the ability to magnify small print, read handwriting, and see items at a distance, the SenseView Due is the portable digital magnifier that does it all. There is no need to carry other devices. Simply place the SenseView Duo in your purse or pocket, and the world is at your fingertips, whether you are at home, in school, shopping, or trying to read street signs.
The screen is a 4.3-inch widescreen LCD, and allows for magnification from 3x up to 12x. When an image is magnified, the SenseView Duo allows you to pan the image on the screen, making it easy to see everything without having to move the camera. This can be done when using the close-up camera, or when viewing one of the 20 pictures that the SenseView Duo is capable of storing in its internal memory.
Just like the Portable SenseView, the SenseView Duo has 6 different color modes (full color, black/white, white/black, yellow/blue, yellow/black, and blue/white). It also has four different brightness levels to choose from.
The rechargeable lithium polymer battery allows for 4.5 hours of continuous use. With all of these features, you might think the SenseView Duo must be a large unit, but keeping with the SenseView tradition, it is still very small at 7-inches wide by 3.07-inches deep by 1.1-inches high, and weighs a mere 0.57 lbs.
