ReadIt 3.2.0 Is Now Available!

GW Micro customers who own the ReadIt Wand digital capture system can now download and install the latest ReadIt software update and take advantage of new features, performance enhancements and stability improvements included in ReadIt version 3.2.0.

Here is a list highlighting the most notable new features available in ReadIt 3.2.0:

  1. Support for Windows 8
  2. Improved OCR accuracy
  3. Improved pronunciation
  4. Added facility to copy text to the clipboard
  5. Ability to speak punctuations
  6. Ability to look up words in a dictionary (English only)
  7. Added context sensitive menu
  8. Customizable scroll bar size
  9. Add facility to make annotations
  10. Add new verbosity level (Very High – speaks control types)
  11. Added "Quick Export" facility to export and open documents in other formats.
  12. Added informational dialogs for:
    • Document
    • Page
    • Position
  13. Added facility to provide customizable replacements for pronunciations
  14. Support Mac OS X (via VMWare Fusion with valid Windows 7 license)
  15. General performance improvements
