December GW Insider Interview
Dec-14-2011This GW Insider episode features an interview with Anna Strange. Anna is a Window-Eyes user and instructor in Northern, CA. In eighth grade, Anna got diagnosed with severe dyslexia, a non-verbal learning disorder, and a non-hyperactive attention deficit disorder. Her family knew for years that she severely struggled with reading so they home schooled her. Anna was told she would never make it in the college environment, but she graduated with two degrees. One degree in Psychology and one in Religion in 2004. Anna graduated cum laude and then went on to get her Masters degree in Educational Leadership and recently graduated in 2011.
