  6. A: At this time, there is not a QWERTY keyboard version available. However, it is possible to connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard to the Braille Sense Plus.

  7. Q: How many keys are on the keyboard?
  8. A: It has 9 Braille keys, 4 function keys, 32 cursor routing keys, and 4 scroll keys.

  20. A: Yes, the Braille Sense Plus is the only Braille notetaker on the market that has an LCD screen to allow sighted people to see what you are typing if you have the LCD turned on.

  21. Q: Can the Braille Sense Plus be used as a Braille display for a computer?
  22. A: Yes, it can do this via the serial port AND the USB client port. So, if your computer has a USB port and not a serial port, you will still be able to use the Braille Sense Plus as a Braille display for your computer. In order for Window-Eyes to work with the Braille Sense Plus as a Braille display via the USB client port, you will need to install a file for Window-Eyes, which is available on our website at www.gwmicro.com/kb1043.

  23. Q: Can I install Winamp on the Braille Sense Plus?
  24. A: No, you cannot install Winamp because you cannot install third-party applications, but there is no need to do so. The Braille Sense Plus has its own built-in media player, which plays MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, WMV, MPA, WAX, M3U, and PLS files.

  25. Q: Can I synchronize the Braille Sense Plus with Microsoft Outlook?
  26. A: Yes, you can synchronize your contacts and calendar between the Braille Sense Plus and Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007.

  76. A: Yes, the Braille Sense Plus can do this even if is turned off. You can set the alarm to sound at the time of your appointment, or at a time you specify before the appointment. For example, you can set the alarm to sound one hour before your appointment.

  77. Q: How much time does it take to fully charge a dead battery?
  78. A: Approximately 4 to 6 hours for the initial charge when you first receive your unit. After that, when the unit is turned off, it will take approximately three hours to charge the battery.

  79. Q: What warranty options are available for the Braille Sense Plus?
