press shift-alt-v to step through the following settings:
voice on with pointer discription off,
voice on with pointer discription immediate,
voice on with pointer discription delayed, and
voice on with pointer description delayed dictionary only.
When you press the above-mentioned hotkey, the new setting is saved.
