WEScript Framework 1.7.2
by GW MicroThe WEScript Framework Wizard serves two main purposes: 1. Release Date: 6/9/2009
Last Update: 4/26/2012
Version 1.7.2
4/26/2012 5:10:52 PM
- Added support for the AboutEmail property in the StandardHelpDialog object so that users can easily contact app authors through the app's About dialog.
- Fixed some spacing in the XML dialogs.
- Resolved all reported errors. Thank you!
Version 1.7.1.1
5/31/2011 9:48:22 AM
- Fixed a minor issue where the Code Template feature would not correctly identify objects inside parenthesis.
Version 1.7.1
5/26/2011 4:55:57 PM
- The TLB generation routine now verifies Window-Eyes versions rather than TLB versions to determine whether a new XML should be built. This will cause the template to be rebuilt after the app is updated.
- Added support for additional toolkit objects (i.e. ConvertLanguage and GetDialogXML).
- Added default support for the toolkit's new ErrorReporting2 object.
- Replaced script with app in all user encountered strings.
- Resolved all reported errors. Thank you!
Version 1.7
4/7/2011 4:00:53 PM
- Updated the documentation name for Window-Eyes 7.5.
- Resolved a problem where some objects would be missed if surrounded my punctuation.
Version 1.6
1/7/2011 5:31:42 PM
- Added appropriate entries to the Window-Eyes script menu.
- Updated the script help text.
- Other minor fixes.
Version 1.5
9/30/2010 11:48:08 AM
- Additional hotkeys (added after a script has been generated) are now supported.
- New scripts now have a script menu generated automatically under the Scripts menu in the Window-Eyes control panel. A scrip's menu, by default, includes a single Help item.
Version 1.4.5
9/15/2010 3:28:22 PM
- The script now checks the version of the XML against the Window-Eyes version rather than the TLB version. This way, the TLB DLL is only loaded when creating the XML, which should only happen once for every new version of Window-Eyes.
Version 1.4.4
9/13/2010 11:21:15 AM
- Released the objects referencing the type library DLL (used to generate the object XML) when they're done, rather than when the script exits.
Version 1.4.3
8/26/2010 12:48:58 PM
- Fixed a spelling error that would cause a script error if no cursor was detected after inserting a code string.
- Increased the delay that happens after setting activation, before inserting a code string.
Version 1.4.2
7/21/2010 3:06:41 PM
- Fixed a problem where the script update URL was incorrect, so script update announcements were not working.
Version 1.4.1
7/21/2010 9:30:12 AM
- Fixed a toolkit shared object timing issue that was causing a script error on launch.
Version 1.4
7/13/2010 4:39:25 PM
- When you select a node in the template dialog that returns an object, you can now choose the Move to Return Object button to jump directly to that object in the object treeview.
- Fixed a problem where focus was being set before activation in the template dialog causing OSM and activation weirdness.
- Fixed a problem where selecting the Insert button would always return in successfully inserting the selected item.
- Bulletproofed cursor detection.
Version 1.3
7/9/2010 11:14:40 AM
- If the version of the TLB installed is older than the version of Window-Eyes running the script, the XML object will be re-created to match the current version.
- Fixed a problem where getting the overlap could sometimes fail when creating the template dialog.
- Fixed a problem where capturing a hotkey could fail.
- Fixed a problem where parameters were not being passed correctly to the template dialog.
- Fixed a problem where the template dialog would not find the correct context when an equals sign was not surrounded by white space.
- Added additional toolkit objects to the wizard dialog.
Version 1.2
11/24/2009 4:01:08 PM
- Script skeleton code now automatically includes support for the key describer. If the key describer is enabled, hotkeys will speak their descriptions. If the key describer is not enabled, the normal hotkey functionality will be executed.
- Text will not insert if the cursor position changes while the object browser dialog is up. This keeps existing lines in the document from being inadvertently mangled.
- Fixed a problem where text would still be inserted even if you escaped from the dynamic parameters dialog.
- Fixed a problem where bringing up the object browser on a punctuation character would cause a script error.
Version 1.1
11/19/2009 2:56:10 PM
- Fixed a problem where "not found" was always spoken, even if an object was found.
- We now make sure a cursor exists before attempting to insert text.
- In the example Set x=blah, if there were no spaces around the equals sign, the method would not be found. That problem has been resolved.
- Optional parameters are now no longer included in the resulting output if they were not provided.
- Fixed a problem where the previous word wouldn't be found if there was a space after it.
- Fixed a problem where words wouldn't be recognized without a blank line between them.
- Fixed a problem where the member name would be appended even if it already existed.
- Now, if an object is not found, but a member is provided, the first result of a search for that member will be selected. In other words, you can have (for example) keyboard.registerhotkey, or foo.registerhotkey, and registerhotkey will be selected both times.

Perhaps one of the most underrated scripts out there. Definitely worth a look.
