Press Windows-F12 to calculate a date and copy it to the clipboard (associate 12 with a calendar). A dialog prompts for the year, month, week, and day, defaulting to either today's date or the last one calculated. Specify the year and week as numbers, the latter being optional. The month and day may be specified as numbers, words, or abbreviations (case is ignored). Here are two examples. Task: Calculate the date of Thanksgiving -- the 4th Thursday of November Year: 2008 Month: November Week: 4 Day: Thursday Result: Thursday, November 27, 2008 Task: Calculate which week day is Christmas Year: 2008 Month: Dec Week: Day: 25 Result: Thursday, December 25, 2008 A date may also be calculated relative to the starting date. Input a plus sign (+) followed by a number to add units of time, or use a minus sign (-) to subtract instead. Here is an example. Task: Check what day is a week after Christmas Year: 2008 Month: December Week: +1 Day: 25 Result: January 1, 2009 The difference between two dates may be calculated by inputting two values, seperated by a space, in at least one field. The week field is not used in this case. An example follows.
