Press Alt-Windows-P to analyze all global or associated scripts for recommended coding practices. At present, the script only checks whether ClientInformation properties have been set: ScriptName, ScriptVersion, ScriptDescription, and ScriptHelp. It is recommended that a script include this meta data. A script that does not satisfy all checks is included in a generated report called PracticeCop.txt in the user profile folder. The file is automatically opened in the program associated with .txt files. Either ASCII or Unicode script files are analyzed. Encrypted files cannot be read, so will always be flagged. Any scripting language is analyzed, but those without property assignment syntax similar to VBScript will be flagged. Checks may be refined or added in updates to this script. It requires GW Toolkit and Homer Shared Object.
