Press Control-Windows-B to specify a .vbs file to beautify with indentation and other stylistic conventions. In the open file dialog, the user profile folder is the default, and the file specified becomes the subsequent default. The original file is backed up with an additional .bak extension, e.g., test.vbs.bak. This script uses the freeware VBSBeaut utility by DaanSystems, available at http://www.daansystems.com/vbsbeaut The default installation is assumed, which places the executable at C:\Program Files\VBSBeautifier\vbsbeaut.exe If the utility is not found there, the script prompts whether to install it from the web. The script file, BeautifyVBScript.vbs, has been beautified in this way, so it provides an example of the resulting format. This script requires GW Toolkit and Homer Shared Object.
